Rouille's device on both t.p.'s. Giovio's port. on main t.p. verso. "Devise de l'avtevr" on special t.p. verso. The emblematic ill. occur in Giovio's and Simeoni's texts, and are in ovals set within rectangular ornamental borders. Most have Latin mottos on decorative ribbons
